Today

So I had a few too many drinks last night. Well, no, actually I can pin point it to exactly one too many. But that's okay. So a lot has happened the last few days. The Santa Barbara show was great. With the exception of the 8 hours on the side of the freeway we spent having to entertain ourselves waiting for a tow truck. But now it's all fine. We got the van back from Santa Barbara Monday. We played a great show @ Rileys which unfortunately got cut short by the Wing Wahs fire. The Binges were great, and man, did I want to see The Strays, but we had to evacuate the building. They promised to come back though. We are working on getting a BBQ together w/ lots of good folks in town, working on helping the music/arts scene here in Bakersfield. Also there's gonna be a show @ The Silver Fox on Thurs. April 7th w/ Gramercy Riff and us. So all will have to come out and watch that one. I guess everyone can feel the tension in the scene right now. A lot is going on. I think one side is starting to realize that they have gone too far. But is it too late for apologies? Will people forget and forgive? Should they? That's up to them. It doesn't matter anymore. The scene can't be stopped. There is too musch going on. All you have to do is get out there and support the people who are truly supporting your local music and art scene. Lots of love, come see us soon.
